Crystal Sailing Club (CSC) is a vibrant community nestled on the shores of Crystal Lake in Crystal, Michigan. Our club is dedicated to the joy of sailing and offers a variety of activities and benefits for sailing enthusiasts of all levels. As a relaxed and personable “working” club, we operate similarly to a cooperative, with members actively involved in maintaining the club and participating in its many events.

- Racing and Events: Participate in club-sponsored races and events, including our June Series, Summer Series, and special events like the Crystal Ball Regatta. Whether you’re an experienced sailor or a beginner, there are opportunities for everyone to get involved.
- Community Involvement: As a member, you’ll contribute to local initiatives, such as supporting the sheriff’s boat dock and hosting a water testing group that monitors the health of Crystal Lake.
Classes of Boats
- Flying Scot: Perfect for both competitive racing and community sailing events. Our fleet of Flying Scots offers an exciting experience for sailors of all skill levels.
- Sunfish: Ideal for solo sailing adventures, the Sunfish fleet provides both exhilarating racing opportunities and leisurely sailing experiences.
- Mixed Fleet: We have racing events for the Flying Scot and Sunfish sailors, but some CSC members are in the Mixed Fleet category.
